April 6 Den Meeting:

This meeting needs to be extended 30 minutes so we can complete certain "experiments" required for the Scientist Section of the Webelo Handbook and for the boys to show they know and understand the requirements to be a Boy Scout.

To prepare - please make sure your son has read and can explain pages 54 through 59 of the Webelo Handbook covering Boy Scout requirements. This MUST be completed before they can receive their Webelo Badge.

Also have your cub read pages 403 to 413. It is about some basic laws of physics and some experiments we will do. The important pages are the 403 to 405 about the laws of Physics that will be demonstrated during the meeting.

Tuesday, April 12 den meeting

Meeting will cover the remaining issues surrounding the Scientist Requirements and the need to complete 2 skits for the Wednesday meeting. The meeting needs to be extended to cover the requirements noted below. Most important will be preparation to perform two skits.

1) Tell the leaders about Bernoulli's Principle (page 404), Pascal (page 406), and Newton's 3 laws of motion (page 407)]. Essentially, read the first paragraph of the page where the law/principle is noted.
2) Read pages 417 to 428
3) Practice 2 skits.

Depending on Progress - We will Review pages 54 through 59 - Boy Scout Requirements
